Disney World with kids

Four parks, two water parks, and a resort bus system that is part of the vacation. These plans pick a hotel first, then decide how many rope drops the kids can actually survive.

How to spend a park day

Morning is the ticket. Lines are shorter and the heat has not arrived. Afternoon is a meal you can sit down for, or the room. Evening is one more ride or the walk back, not a second full park.

Value, moderate, deluxe

Pop Century and All-Star Movies are the value beds. Coronado Springs is the moderate one with a pool worth staying for. The Polynesian is the deluxe monorail plan. Every estimate on these trips is one standard room.

When the pace should slow down

Ages 5–9 get a rest day in the five-day and seven-day plans. Tweens can skip it. A ten-day combo moves the family to Cabana Bay after the Disney half so Universal is not a bus ride from Pop Century.
